About Me

Get to know me and learn why I do the work I do.

I have the honor and privilege of supporting women in becoming the best versions of themselves and going after their dreams. I feel lucky to do this work because I get to be there for women as they go through big transformations in their lives. I’ve helped women launch their businesses to gain more freedom, manage a health issue and have tough conversations with their partners to deepen their connection.

But the truth is, until recently, I didn’t think I could go after this dream and actually be successful. I thought that since I had built a corporate marketing career for the last fifteen years, that I couldn’t branch out and launch my own business. I had this belief that I could only have one or the other –  I couldn’t have a full-time job AND be an entrepreneur. Well after fifteen years in the same field, I wanted to do something more. I wanted to make a bigger impact and serve others in a bigger way, but I just didn’t know how. I remember sitting in a personal development retreat in 2013 and writing the words “life coach?” in my journal as a potential career option. The funny thing is, I didn’t actually do anything with this information and it just sat in that journal waiting to be looked at again.

I finally listened to my intuition when my health took a turn for the worse. I had been dealing with a chronic illness for over ten years at that point. I had tried literally every diet and treatment protocol, with no real results to speak of. I had been to countless doctors and alternative practitioners and had almost given up hope in finding a real diagnosis. I even spent an entire year on a very restrictive diet and lifestyle plan, with very little results in terms of symptom relief. But the turning point for me came when I learned about a program called DNRS. It was rooted in the science of neuroplasticity – that the brain can change its structure and be rewired. As I learned more about my chronic health issues, I realized that what I was telling myself in my head was actually creating my reality. While the origin of my illness was not my fault, the re-living of these old thought patterns was perpetuating the disease in my body.

I have diligently worked to rewire my old thought patterns, and as a result, the unimaginable has happened. I have (almost!) cured myself of ten years of chronic illness, without using diet, supplements or any drugs. As my world opened up to new possibilities, I decided that I would do everything I could to help others transform their lives, just like mine had been transformed. I know the incredible power of changing your thoughts to change your reality and I want to share this with the world.

I used my nights and weekends to study and become certified as a life coach. I then started working with clients, even when I didn’t feel completely ready. I also worked with many peer coaches (and also master coaches) along the way. They have helped me challenge my own beliefs like my fear of failure, shown me what I’m capable of, and asked me powerful questions to help me get clarity on the steps I needed to take to move forward on my goals. I want to offer this support to other women to help them break free from their limiting stories and transform their lives from the inside out.
