You're an Introverted Connector
You’re great at connecting one-on-one and building relationships.
While you’re definitely an introvert and a homebody, that doesn’t mean you can’t grow your business. All while wearing comfy sweatpants and drinking your favorite mug of tea!
Your superpower is that you are really great at creating connections on a one-to-one level. When people talk to you, they feel really seen and heard. Because you listen, and you pick up on things other people miss. So while you may think being an introvert AND a connector is a bit of an oxymoron, it’s not really true.
Your big challenge? Putting yourself out there and being visible feels hard, and it makes marketing feel really difficult. But once people get to know you, they realize how special you are.
As for your marketing, it’s not about trying every single strategy (thank goodness!), it’s about finding what feels most aligned to your personality and strengths, and doing more of that.

to help you grow your business:
1. Figure out a way to create partnerships or joint ventures. While you may have the tendency to want to work on things alone, are there ways you can partner with other people to get in front of a bigger audience? Pitch another business owner a topic you can teach their audience or work with them to speak at a virtual event.
Mindset tip: As an introvert, it can be scary to put yourself out there. To make it easier, start small and work your way up to larger audiences. And pick a topic you really know well so that you feel confident. And try to take the focus off of you—the more you make it your mission to serve others and teach them something you know, the less you’ll be worried about the way you come across.
2. Reach out to people individually. You’re great at connecting one-on-one. So reach out to people you can help and offer them a free strategy or discovery call, where you help them solve a problem and share some insights. Then ask them if they want to hear more about your offer.
Mindset tip: It can be hard to reach out at first, because you may fear rejection or feel like you’ll be judged. But know that when you reach out to a potential client, you’re doing them a favor because you’re helping them solve an issue they’re having. Your bravery to reach out will help get the ball rolling and they’ll be grateful for your help.
3. Think about creating a referral strategy. See if there are business owners serving the same audience as you, but not in exactly the same field. Could you help their clients and vice versa? If so, see if they’d be open to refer people to your services. You could even offer them a small referral fee. Better yet, use your powers of connection to create on online network (even a simple Google doc) you can share with other business owners so they can easily find other service providers to refer people to.
Mindset tip: Reaching out can be scary at first, but know that the people you reach out to will be grateful that you’ve taken the initiative. Other business owners will see it as a win/win since they’re also getting referrals from you.-
